PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia ( KMI ) has finally released the official Ninja Mono RR 250cc single cylinder in Jakarta, Friday ( 14/2 ) . This is the latest model in the classroom full-fairing sport . Ninja terbaru ini menawarkan performa sporty didalam sat paket yang ringan, ramping, dan kompak, dan merupakan alternatif yang lebih sporty dari Ninja 250. Ninja RR 250 mono diciptakan untuk mengantikan Ninja RR 2-tak yang akan stop produksi bulan Juli tahun 2015.

"Ninja RR Mono akan menggantikan debut kesuksesan dari Ninja RR 2-tak sebelumnya. Dan Ninja RR Mono akan menjadi suksesor selanjutnya sebagai produk motor middle-sport Kawasaki yang sudah sejak awal dapat diterima positif oleh masyarakat dan mendapat respon yang sangat baik oleh konsumen," ujar Yoshuke Shimada, Assistant General Manager, Marketing Division PT KMI.

Dilihat dari basic desain dan kapasitas mesin, Ninja RR Mono bukan merupakan produk down-grade dari Ninja 250 FI yang lebih dulu lahir. Ninja RR Mono merupakan produk dengan mesin dan desain terbaru yang lahir disesuaikan dengan harapan konsumen dan pasar.

"Ninja RR Mono is Racy, sangat seksi. Ini dapat menjadi pilihan bagi masyarakat dengan segala kepastian yang diberikan motor ini, performa yang maksimal dan handling yang sempurna. It’s perfect!," tandas Shimada.

Secara handling (desain stang) tak jauh dengan Ninja RR 2-tak, posisi lebih membungkuk dari sang kakak yang 2 silinder, namun lebih ramping dengan rangka tobular. Secara keseluruhan Ninja RR Mono sangat aerodinamis, racy-look, handling mumpuni, dan tenaga yang cukup besar. Bobotnya hanya 151 kg dan kapasitas tangki 11 liter.

Ninja RR Mono mengadopsi konsep balap dengan mesin 1 silinder 249cc, berpendingin udara, 4-tak, DOHC, fuel injection yang sanggup menyemburkan tenaga maksimal 27,6 hp pada 9.700 rpm, dan torsi maksimal 22,6 Nm pada putaran 8.200 rpm.

PT KMI menawarkan 4 pilihan warna , yakni lime green, pearl stardust white, passion red, dan pearl shinning yellow. Untuk versi ABS, hanya tersedia 2 warna, yakni pearl stardust white dan passion red.
